Orion 50ft Pistol Targets are a part of the Orion Scoring System for automated electronic scoring. Orion 50ft Pistol Targets are specially designed to be scanned using a commodity scanner and scored using the Orion software. Most computers can score an Orion 50ft Pistol Target in about 10 seconds.
An Orion for Clubs or Orion at Home license is required to score this target. The 50ft Pistol Slow Fire Target is similar in design to the NRA B-2 target and the 50ft Pistol Timed and Rapid Fire target is similar in design to the NRA B-3 target. The two major differences are the Orion targets are printed on heavy quality target paper for accurate scoring and are on 8.5in by 11in paper to make them scannable.
Orion supports the NRA Gallery League course of fire and the CMP National Match Course and Presidents Match course of fire.
This target was formally called the 50ft Gallery League Pistol Timed and Rapid Fire Target.
